For our luxury cushions we use high-end Timeo viscose velvet in Nuit and Baiser from Pierre Frey Paris. An elegant and softly iridescent velvet, Timeo is sublimely comfortable on a seat. Its color range varies between warm shades and bright hues.
 
We use luxury duck feather cushion pads with a cotton cambric from our upholstery suppliers in the SouthWest UK.
 
For the artistic embroidery we use Madeira threads; Madeira Classic in Viscose, and Madeira FS metallics which are composed of 40% metallis. Polyester
35% Polyamid, 25% Cellulose. We use Madeira because they are the highest quality thread manufacturers, all Oekotex certified. The backing is Madeira Weblon, for flexibility and stability.
 
Each of these gorgeous cushions is created in the Jacky Puzey workshop. We start with original embroidery and hand drawn artwork inspired from images of the silky inclusions in Sapphire and Ruby gemstones, combined with contemporary englow graphic motifs. Each cushion artwork is then hand digitised by Jacky Puzey and embroidered on the state of the art ZSK embroidery machines, so that we can ensure the best quality and retain the creative beauty of the artwork and embroidery. Jacky always prefers to create the embroideries herself - we do not outsource. Finally only using the best quality trimmings from noted London haberdashers.
